Mylène Dumont
Member of the Québec Bar since 2016, Mylène Dumont focuses her practice in the areas of corporate and immigration law. Mylène completed a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and International Law as well as a bachelor’s degree in Law. During her academic course, she was involved in the defense of human rights and was selected to do an internship with the Magistrate. These experiences have allowed her to work on complex and varied cases not only in international law, but also in criminal and penal matters. Subsequently, Mylène completed her internship at the bar in legal aid and was able to develop, by pleading daily before specialized and common law courts, a varied expertise in civil law.
Before joining JGW Business and Tax Law, she worked for the Ministry of Immigration, Francisation and Integration as an advisor in international affairs and as team leader in the Department of Business Immigration. During these years with the Ministry, Mylène conducted hundreds of interviews with candidate investors, she participated in the implementation and operation of new immigration programs and in the training of advisors. From these varied experiences, Mylène will be able to advise you both in your corporate and immigration procedures.
