A member of the Quebec Bar since 2018, Samy Chekir practices in business law, more specifically in commercial and corporate law. Me Chekir completed his law degree at the University of Montreal, where the Faculty of Law awarded him the prize for excellence in business law. He then completed a graduate degree in information technology law and is currently pursuing studies in North American Common Law. Having started his career as a research lawyer for the judges of the Superior Court of Quebec, Me Chekir was quickly exposed to complex cases involving many facets of business law. He then acted as legal counsel for a Quebec-based company of international scope operating in the technology industry. It is with these experiences in mind that Me Chekir joined JGW's team in order to provide quality advice and service to its clients.
